SOS Incident on Steam - Wishlist
Gameplay:
- Live through a chilling 1989 case inspired by real events, taking on multiple roles to uncover the truth through gathering clues, interviews, and puzzles.
- The core loop revolves around investigation and solving the mystery by building a narrative on a corkboard, fueled by paranoia, hallucinations, and unreliable memories.
- With just 3 hours before the game self-destructs, players face rising tension, shifting perspectives, and questions that may never be fully answered.
Narrative:
“We didn’t build the sign.”
Those five words changed everything.
After a storm hits northern Japan, two missing hikers are found alive beside a massive SOS sign carved into the earth. But what happens next is where the story begins.
- SOS Incident is a narrative-driven psychological horror game inspired by a real unsolved case brought to life through Nexpo’s original narration. You won’t just watch the mystery unfold — you’ll live it.

Finally was able to get this video out!
What an amazing experience, I love the different perspectives added.
One thing I realized tho through editinig is that some of the audio isn't equalized but other than that.
Good friggin game. Hit me up once you've released the non-demo!
Comments below clip:
Cons: Right off the bat: you added a copyrighted song to the game - 'Hall of the Mountain King' - by Kevin MacLeod.
In my case youtube flagged it.
As to the game, it works without any sense [indication] of direction, so it might throw of some people [not me].
Pros: The story is tight and flows well. The transitions from one movement/segment to the next are flawless. The textures are rich and elevate the game to a feast for the eyes. So, in all, well done.I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.
Hello, if you are planning on adding translation to your game, i would like to help with Turkish!
Thank you very much gzanarko! And thank you for making the video!
It's been a while since I got goosebumps
Heck yeah Jookkemi! Glad to hera it man. And thank you so much for the video! I love watching people play the game!
Thank you very much for plying the game Anubis! I really enjoyed watching the video!
For being only a demo for chapter 1, this was not too bad so far! Really amazing game on the old sos incident tale. Cannot wait for the full release! Made a video on it.
Thank you very much MrSpookyDemon! Glad you enjoyed the game. Do you perhaps have any suggestions on how it could be improved?
Thank you for the video as well. We are eager to watch the entire thing and see how we can improve the game & demo
Really cool game idea that was hella tense in the beginning and had me worked up, looking forward to the finished game, keep the good work up!
Thank you so much Escapedexile! We are super happy that you enjoyed the demo! And thank you so much for making this video! We can't wait to all watch it in full.
I think that yall have great potential!!! I loved the story and I believe yall will be able to improve even more in chapter 2! Great great start to hopefully this amazing story that will unfold in the chapters to come! Bravo developers!
Thank you Colt! We hope to deliver well on the following chapters too! And thank you so much for the video. We use these videos for feedback! So it helps a lot.
i wish there were more horror aspect in chapter 1 but hey it wasnt too bad! also did nexpo create this game or did u just use some of his commentary and add it into it?
Thank you for the honest feedback Megaultra! What kind of horror aspects would you have liked to see? We often use these videos and comments for changing the game, so any suggestions would be implemented asap! And as for the question, basically we reached out to nexpo at the start of the project and got approval for using his video, voice, etc. for the game. He has been extremely helpful thus far.
fr?!
Say less!
I am going to download this game ASAP and see what kind of video we can make out of it!
I'll be sure to give you my thoughts on it!
Fr! Thank you so much YaThink! Looking forward to analyzing that video in order to improve the game further!
Oh my goodness.
Are you serious?! I just got done recording the game and I gotta say. I FRIGGIN LOVED IT.
I genuinely don't have much to say about the game. I loved the way you made it so far from the sounds to the world build. It's clear that you poured a bunch of love into this game. I had a bunch of fun playing the demo and I am so looking forward to the steam release!
Keep up the great work!
Once again, thank you so much for the positive words YaThink! We really hop the coming chapters will also be well received.
This was really good. Kind of scared the hell out of me, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Thank you very much BlancoKix! We are glad to hear you were scared :) Thank you so much for the video. We will watch it for any improvement ideas.
Really solid stuff!
Thank you very much Ben! We hope to follow up with an equally solid game!
I can't wait for this game! I like a good mystery, and I'll have to do my best to not watch Nexpo's video about it, so I can get the full effect.
The only thing I should note is that some of the tracks isn't content creator friendly. The tracks are called Ominous Horror Soundtrack and Horror Background Atmosphere #6, according to YouTube. They're both being claimed by HAAWK for a 3rd Party, which I've seen many people complain about after researching. Apparently...they claim a lot of royalty free music that isn't even theirs. Totally not your fault! Keep up the amazing work.
MaMayhem thank you SO MUCH for actually naming the exact tracks! Another commenter mentioned this to us, but we were not sure which tracks exactly were affected! So now we know exactly which ones to replace!
Thank you overall for the amazing positivity! It's really motivational. I loved watching your video and will try to keep up in the future.
Thanks again!

This game was phenomenal! Thanks for sharing it with us. here is my playthrough and reaction :)
Thank you so much for posting this Lonepc! We are absolutely enjoying watching you play, and collecting feedback! You got a sub from me! :D
Not hating on this, I actually like the game. A quick question though, does Nexpo know about this?
Thank you so much for clarifying hahah Yes he is well aware! We reached out a few months ago, and he was extremely helpful. He even shared his project files with us!
Thanks for letting me know man. His voice blended so good with the game btw :)
Thank you very much miogame74! We will all make sure to sub :) Super glad you enjoyed the game!
I enjoyed the narration and story, great work!
Thanks for pointing out the narration Missjuju! We are never sure what people will think about the true-crime style of the game narration.
This game was really good I really liked it I played this game on steam some ago and everything in game was really great can't wait to play full game when is release maybe in this year and its on my wishlist anyway great work and keep it up!
Thank you so much for sharing that DevilWolf! This is the kind of motivation we need to keep making the game!
Bom trabalho Packdev Games!
Mesmerizing, story rich and visually dream like horror!
Wow! I've been truly amazed by this demo. The game has so much to offer and leaves you with many questions. I loved the visuals, the sound design. Gameplay felt a bit generic towards the second half, but the intense vibes kept things interesting for me. Can't wait for the full game!
Best of luck!
Wow! Thank you for such kind words Niven! We are aware that the gameplay can sometimes let down the atmosphere, and are actively working on fixing that! Thank you so much for the constructive feedback! It is greatly appreciated.
And thank you for linking the game. Watching you play it is an extremely good form of feedback and fix ideas.
All the best,
Milos from PackDev
That's a really cool game. i really like how the maps and stories change and the atmosphere
Thank you gphobia! And thank you for posting the video! We really appreciate seeing how players interact with our game! We will study this for ideas on how to improve the game!
We just had a detailed look at your video! what an amazing example of player ingenuity. You actually got a COMPLTELY different experience to what we expected! at 5:19 you dodged the cars which were not supposed to be dodgable! so you survived and reached CHAPTER2. This was not supposed to be included in the demo.... we thought the player would innvitably crash andd startthe nightmare sequence. Thank you so much for sharing the video. This is fascinating!
